Coach Ancelotti reveals Mbappe’s debut match for Real Madrid.

Fans will soon get to see Kylian Mbappé play for Real Madrid after coach Ancelotti revealed when the French forward will make his debut.

Kylian Mbappé officially introduced himself to Madrid fans at the club’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on July 16, following his move from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer. However, since then, the former PSG forward has not featured in any of Real Madrid’s pre-season friendlies. Mbappé was not included in the squad for the 1-2 loss to Barcelona in New Jersey and will also miss the friendly against Chelsea in North Carolina on August 7.

Real Madrid’s next match will be the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta at the National Stadium Kazimierz Gorski in Warsaw on August 14. Coach Carlo Ancelotti said he expects Mbappé to be involved, possibly even as a starting player.

Italian coach Ancelotti also confirmed that Jude Bellingham will play in that game. “Mbappé can clearly play in the Super Cup from the start,” Ancelotti told Mundo Deportivo. “Jude Bellingham and others as well. They are prepared, they have followed a plan, and all will play.”

Bellingham has been given extra time off by Real Madrid after reaching the Euro 2024 final with the England national team this summer. Meanwhile, Mbappé, the captain of the French national team, was defeated by Spain in the semi-finals, so his recovery time has been even longer than Bellingham’s.

Mbappé won 15 titles in seven seasons with PSG, but he was unable to secure any continental titles with the French giants. However, he could very well win his first European title in his club career in his very first match for Real Madrid.

With Mbappé and Bellingham joining, Real Madrid hopes to have a successful season and continue to pursue major titles. The fans’ expectations are high for these new stars, and the upcoming UEFA Super Cup will be an opportunity for them to showcase their talent and desire to win.
