Cristiano Ronaldo is determined to recreate the Real Madrid “Galacticos” era at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

At the age of 39, Ronaldo still holds a fierce desire for victory, reminiscent of his European dominance. Leaving Manchester United in disappointment, he chose Al-Nassr not just for financial reasons but to pursue a new challenge, aiming to elevate Al-Nassr to the pinnacle of Arab and Asian football.

Despite his best efforts and impressive goal-scoring record, Ronaldo and Al-Nassr have yet to lift any trophies this season. Tears have fallen, but instead of succumbing to sorrow, he swiftly turned pain into motivation.

According to MARCA, CR7 has planned summer signings for Al-Nassr. The first step involves strengthening the management team. Fernando Hierro, a Real Madrid legend and accomplished manager, will join Al-Nassr as sporting director. With experience from Europe and North America, Hierro aims to professionalize Al-Nassr’s structure.

Ronaldo’s vision doesn’t stop there. In his mind, the image of a powerful Real Madrid, where he won 4 Champions League titles and numerous other accolades, remains vivid. This has sparked a bold recruitment campaign targeting former Real Madrid teammates. His first contact was with current Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernández.

Nacho, considering a move to the MLS in the USA, was surprised by Ronaldo’s offer. At a crossroads in his Real Madrid career, the prospect of reuniting with Ronaldo to build a new project in Saudi Arabia seems more enticing than a comfortable stint in the US.

Next on Ronaldo’s list is Casemiro, a close friend and loyal former teammate. After a challenging season at Manchester United, Casemiro might seek a fresh career change. MARCA asserts that Ronaldo believes the Brazilian midfielder will bring stability that Al-Nassr needs to compete with Al Hilal, who went unbeaten last season.

Ronaldo’s plan extends beyond Nacho and Casemiro. He is in contact with several other former Real Madrid teammates who may be willing to embark on this new adventure. His goal is clear: to create a Galacticos-like team at Al-Nassr, a squad of stars founded on years of friendship and mutual understanding forged at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo’s strategy isn’t just about personal connections. He believes assembling players who have achieved great success together will help Al-Nassr quickly establish a culture of winning. These players bring not only on-field skills but also valuable experience in handling pressure and winning crucial matches.

However, Ronaldo’s plan faces obstacles. Persuading players at the peak of their careers to leave Europe isn’t easy. Moreover, the Saudi Arabian government needs to allow another significant investment into football after a previous massive transfer wave.
